TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is not narrow.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
