Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
